We went to Roseau to celebrate my grandma's 96 birthday. She is a birthday partner with Reagan and they have a birthday on the same day...however, when you turn 96, it trumps a 2 year birthday so we waited to celebrate Reagan's with family the following weekend, but they enjoyed a birthday dessert together with candles to blow out--just 2 candles (one for each of their birthdays), not 96!!
We also met Chris Hass out at one of the local establishments. Fun to talk of ol' times and celebrate the new. Chris just became a daddy again to a little boy!! They reminisced a lot and the evening was spent listening to many stories from high school and the days then they both lived in the cities and I hadn't moved down here yet before we were married.
