Summer Shades

Tumblina

Justin calls Reagan Tumblina and here are some pics of Dad showing Tumblina how to do summersalts or more like winterpeppers??

Play Date with the Eaton Girls

Naomi and Natalie along with their mommy Shana made the trip from Lindstrom Friday morning to see the house and let the girls play.

Natalie and Reagan getting caught red-handed getting into mischief!! We heard lots of laughing, a bang, and then they were really quiet!!

Go Vikes!!

We are gearing up for another football season and surprisingly enough, Justin seems very happy the Favre has joined the team after hating him for so many years playing for The Packers...???? Here are some pics from Friday night's game while I was out at a moms neighborhood girls night out, Jason, Justin and Reagan cheered on the Vikes.

Lowe's

We have made many trips to the near-by Lowe's store for paint and other things for the new house. Reagan loves the race car that she gets to zoom down the aisles with!!

Painting Project with Reagan's Helping Hand

I am trying to finish as many projects as I can before I head back to school. I have done 5 rooms so far and the most recent being, Reagan's playroom. I painted an accent wall light green and then had her put pink, yellow, and purple handprints covering the wall. In the middle of the wall, it will say, "Kids and Toys-Gather Here," a wall sticker from UpperCase Living that hasn't come in yet. This past project was by far was the most challenging. Maybe it was due to the fact that having a one year old assist with paint, is maybe not the easiest or cleanest thing to tackle. It started out great--I would paint her hand and hold her arm and make a print carefully on the wall. She would squeal and say, "Oh Wow!" when pulling it off. After about the 2oth time, it wasn't like that at all. Her hand prints were looking more like that of an alien instead of a cute child, and we were both crying by the last one. That is when I knew it was time to call it quits and she had had enough--and so had I!! All in all though it looks pretty cute and every time we go in there she wants to touch the prints that she made.

Boo Weekley

We got to hang out with Professional Golfer Boo Weekley at the block party after the PGA on Saturday and he kindly posed for some photos from some fans. What a great guy!! After meeting him I went and read a little more about him and I found this great quote...
"If Boo Weekly didn’t exist, you couldn’t make him up. Just who is Boo Weekley... Professional golfer, avid hunter and fisherman, family man, the first person to say "hi" to a stranger?"

Overnight at Grandma's House

Reagan spent the night over at Grandma's while Justin and I went to the PGA during the day on Saturday and then to a block party in the evening. Since Reagan has been up at night many times, Grandma took a turn with her...it was a treat to get to sleep in on Sunday and have a night off. Thanks Grandma!!

Baby Baseball

Justin and Reagan play Baby Baseball around the house where Justin throws the ball and tries to get it before Reagan does.

Thank God for Baby Tylonol!!

We have had some rough nights and days with Reagan as her back molars are coming in. They haven't popped through yet, but when we feel and look inside her mouth there are huge white mounds that have formed. She is not happy about it and we have used Baby Tylonol to help us through these sleepless, painful nights and days. Here is a pic of Reagan using the Tylonol as a teether. Also, as you can see she is a walking accident lately and has some bumps on her head from hitting the computer desk corner a few times. "This too shall pass..."

A fellow Mom who can relate

Amy and I had plans to walk at 9:30 this AM. After getting up with Reagan 3 times last night due to teething, we were draggin' this morning. I called Amy to appologize and explain that we would be late and she said that she was about to call and cancel because she was up the night before with Norah as well, and not to worry. We were determined to make it work and still made it into town and made our walk and lunch at Yum with the girls. Thanks Amy and Norah for the fun date, and for being a mom who can relate!!

Shake it!!

Reagan and I like to watch Ellen in the mornings while we fold laundry or eat breakfast. She loves the intro when Ellen comes in and dances with the audience before she sits down to start her show. Reagan loves the music and likes to shake it along with Ellen.

Making Music

Reagan loves music and has found a new way to carry a tune using her rumpus!!
