Single mom-no thanks!!

Here's to all the single parents---this last week has made me so thankful to the very supportive and wonderful husband that I have, who is by the way a pretty terrific Daddy too!!

On a typical day I get Reagan up, dressed and do her hair (Justin can't handle ponytails yet).  Then Justin is in charge of getting her out the door, in the car and bring her to daycare.  However, Justin had a crazy week this week at work and had to leave extremely early each day. So that meant that I was on my own in the mornings with Reagan, and had drop off-- leaving the house by 7 to drive to Edina to drop her off and in Minnetonka by 7:45.  As you can imagine, it is not the easiest thing in the world getting her going earlier than usual due to the extra drive and out the door by 7.  Here are a couple of pics of her on top of the bathroom counter riffling through my make-up as I try to get ready.  It's no surprise that all of my lipsticks have been eaten and eye shadows have been dug out with a tiny fingernail.

Heart Shaped Pancakes

We enjoyed Valentine's Day together with the ones we love...

Daddy and Reagan made me heart shaped pancakes.

YMCA

We joined the YMCA by our new house mainly for Reagan because she loves the water and we want to start swimming lessons, but also it will be great for us too because the equipment is nice and they offer great classess too.  Here are some pics of us trying out the things that Reagan will enjoy--maybe Daddy too!!

Reagan our sweet Valentine--we love you!!

Yes----I know, we suffer from Only Child Syndrome and Reagan is our main photo subject on the blog...but look at this way, we have moved beyond taking pics of Wylee dressed in costumes.  :)

Dance Party

These pics are very blurry but I posted anyways because I think it represents what life is like right now with a toddler---always moving!!  I will be sure to use the child and pet movement feature on the camera next time...  She loves jamming to tunes in her room--Dance Party @ Reagan's!!

More Tea Please!!

It is so fun listening in on Reagan's tea parties as she is babbling to her stuffed animals.  She is quite the little hostess too (I love the pics of her giving them more)...more tea please!!

Playdough

The Playdough table has been an added piece of furniture in our kitchen, as it keeps Reagan occupied while we empty the dishwasher, make dinner etc...and worth the all the clean-up afterwards!!

Will you be my Valentine??

Reagan loves to color, stamp, paint and draw and spends lots of time standing up on the desk chair making her creations.  So, this year when we did Valentines for her friends at school and family, we painted her handprints to form a heart, she was so into it ---and including stickers was the ultimate!!  She will count to 10 now and counted each heart as she stuck it on all the envelopes and Valentines.
